Pomontino Montefalco Red DOC
As in many other areas of Central Italy, in Montefalco too, Sangiovese can boast a deep-rooted tradition in terms of use and diffusion. A variety that over the centuries has always been used in blends with other vines, those that the farmer had available in his rows. A habit that has led to today's regulations, whose share of other grapes, in addition to Sangiovese and Sagrantino (maximum 20%), is at the discretion of the individual wineries.
